Valentina Poghosyan is the Head of Risk at Anchorage Digital where she drives the strategy behind enhancing compliance controls frameworks and issue management frameworks. With more than 17 years of experience in financial services and financial technology industries at Meta, Fitch Ratings and GE Capital, Valentina has covered a range of financial products including digital assets, consumer finance, commercial lending and leasing. She has also overseen compliance teams across Europe, North and South America, and Asia. In her spare time, Valentina serves on the Board of RELQ educational foundation that promotes free technology education for vulnerable populations. 

Valentina holds an LLM in International Economic Law from University of Warwick in the UK and a second LLM in European Business Law from Paris 2 Pantheon ASSAS in France. Valentina lives in Connecticut with her family.
