Mary Elizabeth Taylor is a strategic global leader whose expertise in government, finance, technology, and geopolitical risk drives measurable business outcomes and empowers high-performing teams. She currently serves as the Chief Policy Officer of Chainalysis, the financial intelligence platform, where she leads the company’s global policy strategy as governments and financial institutions confront a rapidly evolving future  at the intersection of artificial intelligence and financial innovation.

Before Chainalysis, Mary Elizabeth served as Vice President and Global Head of Government and External Affairs at Robinhood. Prior to the private sector, she was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the 32nd Assistant Secretary of State for Legislative Affairs — the youngest person and first African American to hold the role — leading a team of 60 to advance U.S. foreign policy priorities. She also served in the White House as a Special Assistant to the President, advising on Senate confirmations including Cabinet secretaries, Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch, and Federal Reserve Chair Jay Powell. She began her career on the U.S. Senate floor in the office of Republican Leader McConnell.
