 Corey is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Borderless and brings legal, compliance and regulatory experience from both digital asset and traditional markets. Prior to Borderless, he served as Chief Compliance Officer at BlockTower Capital, a digital asset investment adviser registered with the SEC, and Counsel at Payward, Inc., d/b/a Kraken, a digital asset exchange. As for TradeFi market experience, he oversaw US and EU Real Estate as Vice President and Counsel at Ares Capital Management, and held roles as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. Corey earned his B.A. from Binghamton University, J.D. from Washington College of Law, and was a member of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Law School Honors Program.
